COVINGTON — Patricia Ann French,
42, Covington, died at 5:45 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2006 in her home. She was
born June 26, 1964 in Kankakee, Ill., the daughter of Kenneth Gene and Joanne
(Legg) Pasco. She married Derek French Oct. 29, 1988 in Danville, Ill. He
survives. She was a graduate of Danville High School and attended the Second
Church of Christ. She moved to Covington in 1983 from Danville. She was a
secretary at the Fountain County Highway Department for 19 years. Survivors,
besides the husband, include: a son, Trent French, and a daughter, Dakota
French, both at home; three sisters, Jana (Dale) Henk, Danville, Ill., Deanna
(Mike) Cannon, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Lesa (Jack) Shields, Perrysville; and two
brothers, Kenneth (fiancee Leticia Sanchez) Pasco, Danville, Ill. and John
(Linda) Pasco, Oakwood, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth
and Marilyn Pasco. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday in Shelby Funeral
Home, Covington, with Drew Mentzer officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope
Cemetery, Covington. Contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation or
Walthier Cancer Institute with envelopes available at the funeral home. – jlr
